Abstract

The economy of South Sulawesi based on the amount of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the second quarter of 2020 reached Rp 122.83 trillion and at the base of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 79.81 trillion.
The economy of South Sulawesi in the second quarter of 2020 to the second quarter of 2019 fell or contracted -3.87 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Information and Communication Business Field which grew 10.48 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Goods and Services Export Component, which grew 11.17 percent.
