National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) Training March 2019
The National Socio-Economic Survey is one of the routine BPS surveys which is the main data source for development activities in the social and economic fields. Susenas is a supplier of 55 of the 183 SDGs indicators. Almost every year there are always new things from Susenas. In 2018, Susenas succeeded in integrating with the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) conducted by the Balitbangkes Ministry of Health. This year, Susenas will be integrated with the Study of Toddler Nutrition Status (SSGB) to supply the needs of stunting data in Indonesia.
Data and information produced from Susenas are always a reference for various parties, both government and private. The indicators produced from Susenas are also the main reference to monitor the progress of the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) every year until 2030. Thus, to maintain the quality of Susenas data, the Barru Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) conducts Field Officer Training activities. as a means of guiding and debriefing the concepts and definitions and procedures for implementing the field to officers, both data collection officers (PCL) and Susenas supervisor and inspection (PML) officers in March 2019.
Located at Pare Beach Hotel from 31 January to 7 February 2019, 30 PCL and 10 PML were trained and divided into 2 waves with effective 3 days of learning days. This activity was opened by the Head of BPS of South Sulawesi Province on January 31, 2019.
