Welfare Statistics of Barru Regency 2017

Data and information is needed in order to support the process of planning, implementation and valuation of development results in order to run well. Data on socio-economic conditions are needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security, and employment are needed to find out how far the achievements of development outcomes reach all levels of society. The National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) is designed to generate socioeconomic data of the population in education, health, housing, crime, socio-cultural, travel, and community perceptions about household welfare. In 2017, SUSENAS data collection is conducted twice a year in March and September. Publication of Welfare Statistics of 2017 is the result of data collecting through Core and KP SUSENAS questionnaire in March 2017 (List of VSEN17.K and VSEN17.KP) conducted throughout Indonesia. This publication is presented as a percentage of a sex-disaggregated population to meet the needs of gender gap analysis, but it is also presented on the basis of the latest quintile of expenditure and education rescued by the KRT.
