Abstract

The economy of Barru Regency based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices in 2024 reached Rp 9,891 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 5,788 billion. The economy of Barru Regency in 2024 against 2023 experienced a growth of 4.92 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services Business Field at 15.66 percent, while contraction occurred in the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field at 1.06 percent. In terms of expenditure, the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth of 20.80 percent.
