2026 ECONOMIC CENSUS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED IN BARRU REGENCY

Saturday, June 13, 2026, The launch of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) in Barru Regency was officially held at the Hall of the Regional Planning, Development, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bappeda) of Barru Regency.

The event was attended by the Regent (Bupati) of Barru, the Head of BPS Barru Regency, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Barru, and members of the Barru Regional House of Representatives (DPRD). Also present were representatives from all Regional Work Units (OPD), sub-district heads (camat) across Barru, door-to-door enumerators, and BPS staff.

In his remarks, the Regent of Barru called on all OPDs, sub-district heads, village heads, and business owners to work together in supporting the implementation of SE2026. He also urged the public to welcome census officers and provide accurate and complete information.

The Regent emphasized that the confidentiality of data provided by the public is fully guaranteed by law, leaving no reason for hesitation in participating.

Through SE2026, BPS remains committed to producing accurate and comprehensive economic data as a foundation for development planning, particularly in Barru Regency.
