Training for Data Collection Officers for the 2026 Economic Census, Phase 2

The Barru Regency Central Statistics Agency has successfully conducted a series of training sessions for 2026 Economic Census field staff (Batch 2), held June 8–10, 2026, at the Karebosi Premier Hotel in Makassar.

This initiative represents a strategic step toward enhancing the technical competence and understanding of field officers regarding the methodology and data collection procedures for the 2026 Economic Census. Over the course of the three-day program, participants received intensive training on collecting data that is accurate, systematic, and in accordance with established standard operating procedures.

This training reflects the Barru Regency BPS’s concrete commitment to ensuring the quality of economic data, which will serve as the foundation for planning and policy-making regarding development in Barru Regency. The Barru Regency BPS emphasized the importance of integrity, objectivity, and meticulousness to all field staff in carrying out their duties to produce high-quality statistics.
