Inauguration of Barru Regency BPS Office Building

Barru, December 10, 2024 - The Central Bureau of Statistics of Barru Regency officially opened an office building located on Jl. Sultan Hasanuddin No.93, Tuwung, Kec. Barru, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. The building was inaugurated by the Principal Secretary of the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Eng. Imam Machdi, M.T. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Regent of Barru who in this case was represented by Plh. Regional Secretary of Barru Regency, FORKOPIMDA, Heads of OPD / vertical agencies / SOEs, Head of BPS South Sulawesi Province and staff, and Heads of BPS Regency / City throughout South Sulawesi. In his remarks, the Principal Secretary of BPS RI expressed great hope regarding the inauguration of this building. He said that the new office building was designed to create a comfortable, modern, and collaborative work environment. He also hoped that the new facilities can increase the productivity and work enthusiasm of all BPS employees in Barru Regency. This event was coupled with the Socialization of Statistical Activities with the theme: “Utilization of People's Welfare Indicators in the Formulation of Regional Development”. The inauguration ceremony was completed with a symbolic ribbon cutting, signing of the inauguration inscription, and room tour of the Barru District BPS office building. The Barru District BPS Office Building is the result of revitalization of the old office building of the Barru District BPS which was previously located in the same location. The newly inaugurated building now has 1 (one) floor with the following facilities.
